My day starts in the swimming pool at Hotel Lärchenhof. As I swim I watch the sky lighten over the dark mountains. I enjoy the extensive buffet breakfast, before setting off for a day exploring the well marked cross country trails of the Seefeld Plateau.

I glide through silent forests and across meadows sparkling with huge ice crystals.
When I stop to rest I try to record the beautiful scenery in my sketchbook.

As the late afternoon sun turns everything golden, I look forward to arriving back at Hotel Lärchenhof in time for yummy cakes and hot punch. The peaceful pool area is a perfect place to relax afterwards, with water jets in the pool to soothe tired muscles. Dinner at Hotel Lärchenhof is a very special experience. The food is absolutely delicious, an each course is presented like a work of art. We take a quick walk down the hill and back, in the crisp cold air, before bed.

It has been another wonderful day in the Seefeld area and Hotel Lärchenhof.
